Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using GlyphCraft (“the Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Copyright and Intellectual Property

You must not use GlyphCraft to create, reproduce, or distribute content that infringes on the intellectual property rights of any third party. This includes, but is not limited to:

• Copyrighted artwork, illustrations, or photographs you do not have rights to use
• Trademarked logos, names, or brand elements belonging to other companies or individuals
• Characters, settings, or other creative elements owned by third parties
• Card designs that replicate or closely imitate existing commercial products

You are solely responsible for ensuring that the content you create complies with applicable copyright and intellectual property laws. GlyphCraft does not review or monitor user-generated content for copyright compliance.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use GlyphCraft to create, store, or distribute content that:

• Depicts the sexual exploitation or abuse of minors (CSAM)
• Promotes violence, terrorism, or incites harm against individuals or groups
• Constitutes hate speech or harassment based on race, ethnicity, gender, religion, sexual orientation, disability, or other protected characteristics
• Is fraudulent, deceptive, or intended to scam or mislead others
• Contains or distributes malware, viruses, or other harmful code
• Violates any applicable local, national, or international law

Violation of this policy constitutes a breach of these Terms of Service.

4. Bring Your Own Key (BYOK) Model

GlyphCraft operates on a Bring Your Own Key model. Your API keys are stored locally in your browser and are never transmitted to or stored on GlyphCraft servers. You are responsible for managing your own API keys and any costs incurred through their use. GlyphCraft is not responsible for any charges, data loss, or other consequences arising from the use of your API keys.

5. User-Generated Content

You retain full ownership of all cards, designs, and other content you create using GlyphCraft. We do not claim any rights over your creations. You are free to use, share, sell, or distribute your content as you see fit, provided it does not violate these Terms or applicable law.

6. AI-Generated Content

GlyphCraft facilitates the creation of content using third-party AI services. Please be aware of the following:

• The legal status of AI-generated content is evolving. In many jurisdictions, AI-generated images and text may not be eligible for copyright protection.
• You should not assume that content created using AI tools is automatically protected by copyright or that you hold exclusive rights to it.
• AI models may produce outputs that resemble existing copyrighted works. You are responsible for verifying that your creations do not infringe on third-party rights before using, sharing, or selling them.

GlyphCraft makes no representations or warranties regarding the copyright status or legal protectability of any AI-generated content created through the Service.

7. Third-Party Services

GlyphCraft integrates with third-party AI providers (such as OpenAI, Anthropic, and others) through their APIs. Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms of service and usage policies. You are responsible for reviewing and complying with the terms of any third-party API provider you use through GlyphCraft. GlyphCraft is not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or output of any third-party service, nor for any costs or consequences arising from your use of those services.

8. Privacy

GlyphCraft is designed with privacy in mind:

• Your API keys are stored locally in your browser and are never transmitted to or stored on GlyphCraft servers.
• Your card designs and project data are stored locally in your browser.
• GlyphCraft does not collect personal data, create user accounts, or use tracking cookies.

When you use third-party AI APIs through GlyphCraft, your prompts and generated content are transmitted directly to those providers and are subject to their respective privacy policies.

9. Age Requirement

You must be at least 13 years of age to use GlyphCraft. If you are located in the European Union, you must be at least 16 years of age. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet the applicable minimum age requirement. GlyphCraft does not knowingly collect information from or provide services to individuals under these age thresholds.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. GlyphCraft does not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, GlyphCraft and its creators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or business interruption, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless GlyphCraft and its creators from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service, your content, or your violation of these Terms or any applicable law.

13. Breach of Terms

Any use of the Service in violation of these Terms may result in the termination of your right to use the Service. You acknowledge that GlyphCraft is a local-first application and that you are responsible for ensuring your own compliance with these Terms.

14. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of material changes by posting a notice on the Service. Changes will be effective 30 days after posting unless otherwise specified. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date of any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically.

15. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Spain and applicable European Union regulations. Any disputes arising from or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Spain. If you are a consumer in the European Union, you retain any mandatory consumer protection rights afforded to you by the laws of your country of residence.
